Couples May Need Help to Save Their Marriage
Many couples get divorced for no real reason. {However, it is inevitable that a few relationships are going to end in a bad marriage|This doesn’t necessarily mean that there aren’t any bad marriages out there because there certainly are|Some relationships, even if they’re pretty good, will devolve into a bad marriage though{}. This can happen for a variety of reasons|There are many different reasons why this can happen|Couples can experience these problems for many different reasons}. Possibly one spouse starts drinking to excess and physically abusing their mate, one spouse continues to have affair after affair without remorse, or one partner wants to totally dominate the other. Some couples would be much better off getting a divorce so they can move on with their lives and be happy. Sadly, it doesn’t always work out this way.
Sadly, it’s pretty common for men in relationships to abuse their wives or even their children. It’s usually the man who is abusive although some women are that way too. These men are bullies that love preying on their weaker family members. It’s also common for these abusers to drink alcohol excessively which only makes their behavior worse. Many women are forced to remain silent as their children are beaten by the abusive husband and father. Obviously this type of marriage isn’t worth saving; however, many times the women are afraid to leave for fear of harsher attacks. Many abused people aren’t aware that there is help out there for them, so they don’t really have to stay in the bad marriage.
Other couples experience problems because of infidelity. For the spouse who has remained faithful to their wedding vows, this can be a terrible blow to the ego as well as the emotional health. Not many egos can absorb the blow dealt by finding out that the one they love would rather be with someone else. If you’re in this situation, talking to a marriage coach can be quite helpful in learning that you aren’t at fault for the situation.
Another case of a bad marriage may have started out okay but changed as the partners matured. Many younger women get married to an older guy so that they’ll be provided for. She may start to resent the fact that he wants to control her as she gets older. He has a dominant personality, and she’s no longer willing to let him rule her life. Anyone in this situation will most likely have many problems that need a marriage coach to solve. If you don’t get outside help, your relationship could very well end in divorce.
